So came across Johnson when checking the service history from another Volvo Johnson was very helpful and also suggested another V90 he had in stock In a nutshell finance was arranged on my behalf The car has been serviced and a new MOT put on the car. He didnāt have to but he replaced all the discs and pads and delivered the car a long distance All in all a decent professional guy but of course am yet to drive and test the car so š¤š¤there wonāt be any issues but would recommend All good driving went through a Volvo main dealer healthcare check with no issues. Bar a query over the rear wiper blade. So very pleased with that. Adds reassurance

Greg kept me up to date, which was especially good as I was buying from Scotland. Everything was as described and delivered to my door for a very reasonable price. Can't recommend this garage enough. Best experience of buying a car in 17 years.
Well, what can I say about this garage, All I can say is fantastic, excellent service, great communication, great vehicles, great customer service, very helpful, extremely friendly honest and no I do not work for them. Iāve purchased a 2014 Volvo XC 90 D5 R-design off Johnson back in September 2024. I was very optimistic as I was over two hours away and I struggle with time with kids activities out of work to view the vehicle, I contacted Johnson and from the minute I spoke to him I felt at ease, he sent me every single picture and video that I requested and there was a lot, this was so that I could See everything with the vehicle, any issues that I pointed out were rectified and sorted. I had new brakes all round fitted when there was no need to had timing belt changed, serviced, fresh mot, full valet and delivered. When the car was delivered by Johnson himself it was in better condition than I expected and as I thought what a gentleman he was. I really cannot recommend this garage enough. I have recommended it quite a few times already to group members on Facebook on the Volvo owners club and the Volvo XC 90 owners club and when I am ready for another vehicle, I shall be going here 1st to see if he can help Keep up the good work and the team. Amazing! I took my car for its mot at Halfords, it failed as it needed a new repeater light unit for wing mirror! They told me I had to get it from Volvo themselves and to bring it back for re-test once I've had it done. I rung Volvo they were absolutely useless couldn't even get me in to look at it for 2 weeks at least ( that would mean no car for 2 weeks as obviously failed mot) so I rung Johnson at Volvo specialist he looked into it for me, rung me back immediately said he could squeeze me in later that day at a very reasonable price, so I got my car passed the same day thanks to Johnson and his team, fab customer service would highly recommend.

Excellent service, No hard sell I felt like I was asking the questions and getting truthful answers back. I arrived with a list of accessories/upgrades OEM options I wanted and the guys found and sat me in what has become the best car I've owned. I recommend them all the time. I've owned five Volvo's now (This is my first from here) and dealt with main dealers back street non reputable non specialist and even maintained myself, so I was over the moon on the first service when I took it back. Quick turn around used OEM part's and the bill didn't make my heart skip three beats. My car has been all over the country covered thousands of miles both attended car shows and even made it on to YouTube on a car enthusiast's video about the generations of Volvo's. So if you've read this far and still haven't got dressed and one foot out the door and on your way to speak with them I'm assuming it's only because they're closed and having a well earned rest.
I've had a great experience with having my V40 serviced and MOT'd here. The quality of work, and regular communication are great. Would recommend for maintenance.
Had a great experience buying my V70 here. Checked the car out and went for a test drive with Greg. It had only just arrived with them so hadnāt been worked on at all yet. The little bits of wear or damage were all sorted for me to an excellent standard, perfect MOT put on, bodywork waxed, service, cambelt. Got the AA to check it out because Iāve been burnt before and I was paranoid, the inspector came out, test drove and looked over it and couldnāt fault it, he said to me that he trusts this garage and every car he checks there is as described. Iāve already recommended to a few friends and I think my Dad will be down to buy an XC60 soon!
We bought an XC60 from this dealership and were attended to by Greg. Greg was very knowledgeable on the day knowing the answers to all our questions and he knew all the specifications of the vehicle. Since buying the car it has had to be returned for work twice, the dealership had a man who collected our car from Cumbria and drove it back to Yorkshire for us, returning it once ready, Greg arranged everything and made sure we were happy customers. He gave us the confidence to do business with him and we don't regret our decision.
Took my Volvo in for a diagnostic due to a intermittent throttle problem. They did the diagnostic and ended up fixing the problem there and then rather than booking it back in. Excellent service and very friendly guys. Will definitely be back again. Canāt recommend enough š.

Excellent experience here. The car I looked at was in decent condition when viewed on the forecourt, however the attention to detail put in to prepare it for collection was nothing short of excellent. It was also ready on time. Sales process was nice and relaxed, no pushiness, all questions answered, no hidden charges. Collection, payment, tax etc was all straightforward with no hold ups or messing about. Recommended.
